It's a rare occurence that my wife gets really into one of the sites I post - let alone my wife and sister-in-law - so I thought VideoJug was worth a second post. These guys are doing an excellent job of building a rapidly growing library of instructional video tutorials. It's like a useful YouTube without blatant copyright infringement. Thanks to VideoJug, I have shinier shoes and neater shirts. I've learned how to eat sushi the right way and sell celebrity photographs on the internets. History fans will like the new library on the world wars and 20th century events. Plus they keep expanded their core collection - cooking videos with concise instructions.

Thanks for the videojug website. The shoe polishing video was very insightful. I hadn't found it yet in my searches. I still don't understand how youtube has all those videos that seem to violate copyrights with their posting. credit
I once saw the Videojug founder, David Tabizel, speaking about the Internet in 1995 at a conference in London. He was hugely inspiring, talking about the 'end of geography' and how collaborative wisdom would eventually emerge from Internet communities of interest.
I remember how he talked of intelligent agents that would represent us when we were asleep and would both guard our houses and find us dates. He also spoke about about video schools.
I then started a web business in 1997 but lost all in the dotcom crash. Never mind! I now work as a teacher...
My favourite videojug films are the magic videos.
I also love the step by step cooking videos on videojug, although I think they need more recipes.
